THIS EVENT HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC
WHAT: 53rd Archdiocese of Washington Exemplification of the 4th Degree of the Knights of Columbus
WHEN: Saturday, April 18, 2020 Candidates Arrive between 9:00am-9:30am
WHERE: St. Mary of the Mills Keesler Parish Center, 800 Main Street, Laurel, MD 20707

COST: Assembly Annual Dues PLUS $70 Registration per Candidate ($35 for Priests, $25 for guest luncheon ticket)
ELIGIBILITY: Each candidate must be: (1) A third degree member in good standing in his council, and (2) a citizen of the country in which he resides. A citizen of another nation may participate with the specific written approval of both the Master of the appropriate District where he claims citizenship and the Master of the Archdiocese of Washington District.
ATTIRE: Candidates’ dress shall be black or dark (blue or grey) business suit with black shoes, white dress shirt and tie. Members of the Military and First Responders are encouraged to wear their Dress Uniform to the exemplification. Priests may wear their preferred clerical attire.
DEADLINE: April 6, 2020
REGISTRATION: Form-4 (in-person with Assembly) PLUS Registration Information at http://awddistrict.org/index.php/exemplification
HONOREE: Dr. Reginald C. Grier, PhD, PGK, FDD. Dr. Grier is a retired United States Army Colonel.
NOTES: Every candidate’s application must be received, voted on, and approved by the Assembly before submission.

COLOR CORPS UNIFORM (For Current Sir Knights): Official Fourth Degree Navy Blue Blazer with Fourth Degree Emblem Blazer Crest, Knights of Columbus Emblem of the Order buttons, Official Fourth Degree Gray trouser, Official Fourth Degree necktie, Official Fourth Degree black beret with Forth Degree metal badge, Plain white dress shirt with button-cuff (no French cuffs and no button down collar), Black socks and plain black shoes, Official Fourth Degree Lapel Pin (PG-113), Incumbent Jewel of Office, Past and Former miniature medals above left pocket, No name badge, Black dress belt, Service Baldric).
